HEALTH and MANAGEMENT~
We will not sell a goat to a home that doesn’t have a working relationship with a proper large-animal vet. We strongly recommend finding a vet that specializes in small ruminants, even if they are further away from your home. Equine or bovine vets often do not have the knowledge needed to properly treat goats. Our vet is an hour away but they are WELL worth the drive. A good vet will be willing to help you diagnose and treat over the phone. These links can help:
