Little Lyra was born late in the season and missed showing in 2023 but man is she a looker! The granddams on both top and bottom both freshened here for the first time in 2022 about BOTH of them blew us away with their incredibly correct, shapely, and productive FF udders. We have high hopes for this little lady! Lyra’s granddam is our herd matriarch Old Mountain Farm MadM Mo Zell 4*M VEVE 91 and her great granddam is Old Mountain Farm Gazelle EEEE 92. Lyra’s sire, Haymaker Farm Hero of Ukraine, earned raves in the show ring as a yearling along with two champion legs. Lyra’s dam, Dark Matter, is line bred on Old Mountain Farm Bold Elk as he is her maternal grandsire and paternal great-grandsire. Bold Elk was the 2018 ADGA National Show Premier Sire and sire to the 2017 ADGA National Show Grand Champion Senior Doe / 2017 ADGA National Show Best Udder Senior Doe. He was also the 2017 ADGA National Show Get of Sire Buck, and sire to the 2018 ADGA National Show Reserve Champion Senior Doe.
